Cuando aprendes a usar will en afirmativo y negativo, el paso natural es aprender a hacer preguntas con él. La buena noticia: la estructura es muy regular y fácil de memorizar.

Estructura de las preguntas con will
Para formar una pregunta con will, simplemente inviertes el orden del sujeto y el auxiliar:
Afirmativa: Sujeto + will + infinitivo Interrogativa: Will + sujeto + infinitivo + ?

No hay ninguna partícula extra. Solo inviertes.
Tipos de preguntas con will
1. Preguntas de sí/no (Yes/No questions)
Son las preguntas básicas:
- Will you be at the meeting tomorrow?
- Will it rain this weekend?
- Will they accept our offer?
- Will the package arrive today?
Respuestas cortas:
- Yes, I will. / No, I won't.
- Yes, she will. / No, she won't.
- Yes, they will. / No, they won't.
Nunca se contrae en la respuesta corta afirmativa: Yes, I'll ❌ → Yes, I will ✓
2. Preguntas con partícula interrogativa (Wh- questions)
Cuando quieres una respuesta específica (quién, qué, cuándo, cómo...):
Estructura: Wh- + will + sujeto + infinitivo + ?
- When will the results be available?
- Where will you be staying?
- Who will be in charge of the project?
- How long will this take?
- Why will they close the office?
- What will you do if it goes wrong?
3. Tag questions con will/won't
Las tag questions son esas pequeñas preguntas que se añaden al final de una frase para buscar confirmación:

Si la frase es afirmativa → la tag es negativa con won't:
- You'll be there, won't you?
- She'll help us, won't she?
- It'll work out, won't it?

Si la frase es negativa → la tag es afirmativa con will:
- You won't tell anyone, will you?
- She won't be late, will she?
- It won't take long, will it?
4. Preguntas indirectas con will
En lenguaje más formal o educado, las preguntas con will se introducen con una frase:
- Could you tell me when the train will arrive?
- Do you know if she will attend?
- I was wondering whether he will accept.
En las preguntas indirectas, el orden vuelve a ser afirmativo (sujeto + will), no invertido.
Usos especiales de will en preguntas
Peticiones con "Will you...?"
Will you...? sirve para hacer peticiones directas:
- Will you open the window, please?
- Will you give me a hand with this?
- Will you be quiet?
Es directo. Para sonar más educado, se usa Would you...? o Could you...?
Ofrecimientos con "Shall I...?" (inglés británico)
En inglés británico, shall (en lugar de will) se usa con I y we para ofrecimientos:
- Shall I get you something to drink?
- Shall we start the meeting?
- Shall I call them back?
En inglés americano es más común Should I...? o Do you want me to...?
Invitaciones formales con "Will you...?"
- Will you do me the honor of...?
- Will you join us for dinner tonight?
Preguntas con will: errores frecuentes
No invertir el orden:
- ❌ You will be there tomorrow?
- ✓ Will you be there tomorrow?
Añadir "do" como auxiliar:
- ❌ Do you will come?
- ✓ Will you come?
Contraer en respuesta corta afirmativa:
- ❌ Yes, I'll.
- ✓ Yes, I will.
Usar "will" para preguntar sobre planes concretos ya hechos:
- Menos natural: Will you travel to Madrid next week?
- Más natural: Are you travelling to Madrid next week? (plan ya organizado)
