Ejercicios de Voz Pasiva en Inglés con Soluciones: Práctica Real

Conocer las reglas de la voz pasiva es solo la mitad del trabajo. La otra mitad es practicarla hasta que fluya con naturalidad. Estos ejercicios están organizados por nivel y tipo, con sus soluciones explicadas para que no solo compruebes si has acertado sino que entiendas exactamente por qué.

Bloque 1: Transformación básica (A2-B1)

Transforma estas oraciones activas a voz pasiva. Mantén el mismo tiempo verbal.

1. They clean the office every morning.
2. Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet.
3. Someone is repairing the road right now.
4. The team has already finished the project.
5. They will announce the results tomorrow.

Soluciones:

1. The office is cleaned every morning. (present simple pasiva)
2. Romeo and Juliet was written by Shakespeare. (past simple pasiva; agente relevante)
3. The road is being repaired right now. (present continuous pasiva)
4. The project has already been finished. (present perfect pasiva)
5. The results will be announced tomorrow. (future pasiva)

Puntos a revisar:

• En el nº 2, was written no was wrote. Verbo irregular.
• En el nº 3, el auxiliar es is being, no simplemente is.
• En el nº 4, has been finished, con been obligatorio.

Bloque 2: Relleno de huecos (B1-B2)

Completa con la forma pasiva correcta del verbo entre paréntesis:

1. The letter ___ (send) to the wrong address last week.
2. A new record ___ (break) at the championships yesterday.
3. The package ___ (deliver) when I arrived home.
4. The new policy ___ (discuss) at next week's meeting.
5. By the time we arrived, all the food ___ (eat).
6. This type of fabric ___ (make) in Portugal for over a century.
7. The suspect ___ (question) by the police at this moment.

Soluciones:

1. was sent (past simple)
2. was broken (past simple; verbo irregular: break → broken)
3. had been delivered (past perfect; había ocurrido antes de otro momento pasado)
4. will be discussed (future)
5. had been eaten (past perfect)
6. has been made (present perfect; con "for over a century")
7. is being questioned (present continuous)

Bloque 3: Corrección de errores (B1-B2)

Estas oraciones tienen un error. Encuéntralo y corrígelo:

1. The documentary was showed on BBC last night.
2. The results were publishing last Monday.
3. Three people was injured in the accident.
4. The food is being prepared by the chef right now. (correcta, no tiene error)
5. The report should submitted before Friday.
6. The package was send two days ago.
7. The new hospital was build in 2019.

Soluciones:

1. was shown (no showed; participio irregular de show)
2. were published (no publishing; la pasiva requiere participio, no gerundio)
3. were injured (no was; sujeto plural three people)
4. Sin error. ✓
5. should be submitted (falta el be)
6. was sent (no send; participio de send es sent)
7. was built (no build; participio irregular de build)

Bloque 4: Pasiva impersonal (B2-C1)

Transforma usando la estructura It is/was + participio + that Y también con sujeto + is/was + participio + to + infinitivo:

1. People believe that the painting is genuine.
2. They reported that six people were missing.
3. Experts say that the economy will recover soon.

Soluciones:

1. It is believed that the painting is genuine. The painting is believed to be genuine.

2. It was reported that six people were missing. Six people were reported to be missing. / Six people were reported to have been missing.

3. It is said that the economy will recover soon. The economy is said to be likely to recover soon. / The economy is said to recover soon.

Bloque 5: Key Word Transformation estilo Cambridge B2

Reescribe la segunda frase para que tenga el mismo significado, usando la palabra en mayúsculas. Usa entre dos y cinco palabras.

1. They have not yet told us the final decision. BEEN → We have not yet been told the final decision.

2. Someone stole her handbag on the train. HAD → She had her handbag stolen on the train.

3. People think that the company is in financial trouble. THOUGHT → The company is thought to be in financial trouble.

4. The technician is repairing the server right now. BEING → The server is being repaired right now.

5. Nobody had informed the manager about the complaint. BEEN → The manager had not been informed about the complaint.

Bloque 6: Producción libre (B2-C1)

Escribe 5 frases usando pasiva en los siguientes contextos:

• Una noticia sobre un accidente
• Una instrucción de uso de un producto
• Un email formal con una decisión empresarial
• Un hallazgo científico
• Una experiencia negativa personal (have something done / pasiva)

No hay respuesta única. Lo importante es que uses los tiempos correctamente y que la elección de pasiva esté justificada por el contexto.

Cómo seguir practicando

La pasiva en inglés se asienta mejor si la practicas en contexto real, no solo con ejercicios de libro. Algunas formas concretas:

• Lee un artículo de BBC News o The Guardian cada día e identifica todas las pasivas.
• Cuando escribas un email formal, revisa si alguna frase activa quedaría mejor en pasiva.
• Practica transformaciones con los subtítulos en inglés de cualquier documental o serie.

Con constancia, en pocas semanas empezarás a reconocer y producir la pasiva de forma automática, que es exactamente el objetivo.
